Lusto- The Finnish Forest Museum
Lusto is a national museum specializing in forests and forestry, and a versatile exhibition and culture centre located in Punkaharju. Lusto is open all year round and it attracts approximately 30 000 vistiors every year. The museum was opened to the public in 1994 and it is one of the largest specialized museums in Finland. The location of Lusto in the national landscape of Punkaharju, amidst the most spectacular scenery of ridges and lakes in the eastern part of Finland, creates an extraordinary frame for culture, nature and conference torurism all year round.
